How To Clean Your PC

The first thing you are going to want to do is shut off your computer, make sure it is unplugged, and the power supply is turned off. On top of the cleaning supplies, you might need a screwdriver to get at your components. Make sure you are wearing a mask to cover your nose and mouth because there can be a lot of dust you don’t want to breathe in. Check to see if your computer has any filter
s and start with those first This will be the only part of the system that you can use water on, you’re going to want to rinse it in the sink Then let it dry completely before putting it back to your system. Where the dust builds up in your system will be different depending on the configuration, It will generally rest on top of components. The compressed air will be doing most of the heavy lifting on removing any dust that is inside your system. Do not shake or use your can of compressed air upside down because this can cause problems for your system and is not safe to do. For any remaining dust that needs cleaning off of your system a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol works best. Cleaning the outside of the case is going to require a microfiber cloth and a little rubbing alcohol to wipe down any dust that still lingers on your case
Moving onto your keyboard, Tilt it down and use your canned air two blows out any dust or debris that might have built up in between your keys. Then you’re going to want to use your Q tips with rubbing alcohol to get any remaining dust in between the small spaces in your keys.
